Club Fleet

No boat? No problem! At Conestoga Sailing Club you do not need to own your own boat to go sailing. All trained members have full access to our club boats when they are not used by the camp. Our current fleet has boats that children and adults can sail single-handed, double-handed, and with friends. Please also see our Club Boat Policy.

All you have to do to become a trained member is:

  • Be a member in good standing,
  • Provide either a copy of your CANSail 1 certificate or, have one of our instructors check out your sailing proficiency free of charge!
  • Attend one of our free Sailing Orientations to go over where gear is stored, basic rigging, and how to properly launch and store Club boats

Using our boats is great way to practise your existing skills or expand your sailing experience. Be sure to come check out what we have to offer today! Please note that we provide basic rigging and safety equipment for each boat. It is, however, up to each member to provide their own properly fitting regulation personal flotation device (PFD) for themselves and any family members or guests using the club’s boats.
