Able Sail Program
The Able Sail program at Conestoga offers persons with disabilities the chance to enjoy sailing. The sailing club owns two boats specially designed with the disabled in mind. Our Challenger Trimaran is the only one of its kind in the province and can seat a skipper and small passenger. Our Access 2.3 dinghy can accomodate one or two sailors. Both boats are quick to learn and a pleasure to sail. To see the Access 2.3 dinghy and Challanger in action check out the "able sail gallery" on the photos page.
Both boats are available for member use or for use in our youth and adult programs. If you'd like to become a member, or simply take one of the dinghies for a test sail to see if sailing is for you, contact the club manager at 519-638-5241.
